Older forms

Earlier there was once an absolute form in the present, imperfect and the future/conditional: (do-)chím, (do-)chí(onn) sé, (do-)chíodh sé, (do-)chífidh sé, etc..
This is also still in use as tchím, tchí(onn) sé or tí(onn) sé in Ulster or in Munster as chím, chíonn sé .
